The SEC says that its move to a “full telework posture” because of the coronavirus pandemic has not hampered its ability to provide additional support to financial professionals and investors while maintaining regular operations.
Over the course of last week, the SEC transitioned employees at its Washington, D.C. headquarters to a telework arrangement, the regulator says in a statement.
On March 9, the SEC ordered some of the employees at its Washington, D.C., headquarters to work remotely as a precaution after a physician treating one of its staff members for respiratory issues said they could have been caused by the virus.
