It’s my hope to leave a lasting impression on regulators

I have been attempting to get Indexed Life illustrated rates regulated and under control for more than 17 years.
The gamesmanship that is occurring, to boost illustrated values with a combination of hybrid indices and bonuses, has gotten ridiculous.
It is my hope that teaming up with my competitor, Bobby Samuelson, on a letter to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) will leave a lasting impression on regulators. We need them to see how pervasive this problem is, and how it has the ability to hurt consumers and insurance companies, alike. -sjm
