Ameritas Life Insurance Corp is seeking a Director of Product Analytics. This position is a management position with a team that is responsible for supporting Life and Annuity Products and associated technology initiatives.
What you do:
Lead Individual Line profitability analysis for Life and Annuity products including:
- Dashboard KPI identification and development
- Data insight analysis regarding partnership initiatives
- Hedge Performance Metrics
- Cash Flow and Economic Reporting
- Interest Rate Management
Lead and support technology initiatives for Individual Product Management:
- Data Governance regarding product business terms
- Adoption of data technologies in Individual Product including data visualization and data analysis tools
- Leveraging the actuarial model platform modernization for Product-level analysis
- Support Administrative System enhancements and conversions
- Support Accounting Ledger enhancements, conversions, and reporting processes as they relate to Product data
Manage team members and activities of the Actuarial Support Unit
- Support Customer Service area for policy calculation issues
- Lead team to best decisions for problem resolutions
What you bring:
- Attainment of Fellow of Society of Actuaries and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
- 7-10 years of experience as a practicing actuary
- Must have a proven track record of application of actuarial principles, pricing methodology, and assumption development.
- Experience in actuarial data analysis which may include experience studies, data governance, BI reporting.
- Experience working with Life and Annuity products. This experience may include pricing, valuation, and/or experience studies.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in bringing actuarial insights from corporate and public data sources.
- Experience managing complex and multi-functional teams.
