Fixed Universal Life Needs Innovation as Sales Fall Again, Wink Says

Fourth-quarter sales of fixed universal life insurance tumbled 22% from a year earlier to $109.6 million, according to Wink.
Sheryl Moore, CEO of Wink, said in a statement that sales of the product are probably at their lowest since it was introduced almost 45 years ago, adding that “there definitely needs to be some new innovation in the market, if carriers want to revive the product line.”
