GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Eagle Life Marketing Strategy Manager develops and implements innovative marketing strategies using marketplace trends, research and data analytics to support key business objectives. The role collaborates with internal and external teams to create compelling omnichannel approaches.
The Marketing Strategy Manager partners closely with the Manager of Eagle Life Marketing to drive new strategic initiatives including third-party vendor onboarding, national and local campaign management, product launches, and more.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops comprehensive marketing plans and effective strategies that support the business objectives.
- Manages the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing materials and collateral, ensuring alignment with company brand standards and compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with internal and external business units, partners, and vendors to promote effective and efficient, targeted marketing programs consistent with core business objectives.
- Manages third-party vendor relationships. Includes invoice management, attending regular status meetings, strategic planning, roadmap development, execution of marketing projects, and user training.
- Maintains detailed spend tracking across multiple projects and vendors and ensures alignment with the department budget. Verifies invoice accuracy and work with vendors to reconcile any discrepancies.
- Tracks and measures marketing outcomes including campaign effectiveness, customer engagement, leads, sales, retention, customer acquisition cost, ROI, and other KPIs as needed. Analyzes gathered data to evaluate the success of marketing efforts and determine areas for improvement.
- Collaborates on marketing priorities and supports the development of the annual marketing calendar.
- Stays abreast of competitive marketing activity and recommend tactical actions.
- Prepares and presents regular and consistent marketing dashboards and reports to the Eagle Life marketing team, senior management, stakeholders and other business partners.
- Supports any field and partner training needs by developing and updating the necessary training materials.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Five (5) or more years of experience in strategic marketing. Experience in Retirement, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industry is a plus.
- Experience with third-party vendor onboarding and management.
- Experience supporting and driving change management.
- Bachelor’s (B.A.) degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field
Experience in the use of SalesForce, and Workfront preferred.
