Sammons Finishes as Top Fixed-Indexed Annuity Seller in Q4

The company is the parent of Midland National and North American Co. for Life and Health Insurance. The last time Sammons ranked first in fixed-indexed annuity sales was in the third quarter of 2001, when the company didn’t combine sales from Midland and North American, said Sheryl Moore CEO of Wink, publisher of Wink‘s Sales & Market Report.

“Sammons took the lead this quarter because two of the three top sellers had double-digit sales declines,” Moore said in an email.
