Today is the day that I finally get Dad admitted to the nursing home.

The latest update on my Dad-

Dad has been living at the Veteran’s Hospital in Des Moines, since November, due to his Alzheimer’s diagnosis. We’ve been waiting for a room to open-up at the Iowa Veterans’ Home.

Today is the day that I finally get Dad admitted to the nursing home.

He has a nice, big private room, so that should do nicely.

I have a hearing on May 20th, to (hopefully) become Dad’s conservator and guardian.

Prayers appreciated for today’s events.

Look for an update at the end of May.
