What a very sad week!

A distribution legend, Ron Essary, passed away today.

When I first became acclimated with Ron, he was running CreativeOne (back when they were called “Creative Marketing”).

Thereafter, he started Ideal Producers Group.

To the best of my knowledge, Ron was the first field marketing organization executive to bring an actuary in-house, to assist with proprietary product development.

He was brilliant.
