Wink’s Moore on the Market: Indexed annuities are safer than the bank?
Bank products are backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government.
Annuities are not.
The guaranty fund is absolutely NOT backed by the government, folks!
I feel very uncomfortable about a person indicating there are no solvency issues with annuities.
Anyone remember Colorado Bankers Life?!? How about Phoenix Life?!?
Speaking of preposterous- there are NO indexed annuities with a 50% bonus on the account value.
