How much does a $1 million annuity pay monthly?

With interest rates still elevated and recession concerns casting a shadow over the markets, many Americans are seeking financial products that can offer security and stability in retirement. Among the most talked-about options right now? Annuities. These financial contracts turn your lump sum into a predictable stream of monthly income. And, while that can be a smart tool to use for nearly any retiree, it can be especially valuable when there are questions about where the economy may be headed.
Wink’s Moore on the Market: Angelica Leicht did a great job on this article about annuities.
I sense that it is clickbait, but it is an accurate, unbiased piece.
There appears to be a mistake in the comparison of the payouts at ages 60/65/70, but the rest looks fantastic.
I love her closing sentence: “After all, the highest payout isn’t always the best fit for your long-term financial goals.”
She couldn’t be more right!
P.S. Shocked that Gainbridge appears to be crediting fixed annuity rates that are less competitive than their non-D2C peers? -sjm
