Corebridge Rolls Out New Fixed-Indexed Annuity With 200% Multiplier Feature

Power Select AICO is the first fixed-indexed annuity with a multiplier that has an explicit fee directly associated with it, according to Sheryl Moore, CEO of Wink, publisher of Wink‘s Sales & Market Report, long-time tracker of the life and annuity market. While Allianz Life was the first to offer a multiplier on an indexed annuity, other carriers incorporate multipliers with fees within living benefits features, she said. Corebridge sold $2 billion in fixed-indexed annuities in the first quarter, according to Wink.
