Talcott Financial Bursts into Retail Annuities with Three New Contracts

“They are already quite knowledgeable when it comes to the annuities market, and it shows in their recent product launch,” said Sheryl Moore, CEO of Wink and publisher of Wink’s Sales & Market Report, which tracks the U.S. life and annuity market.

Moore noted that Talcott has entered into reinsurance agreements to take over the servicing and management of annuities from carriers including MetLife, Allianz Life and Lincoln National. “I am sure that Sixth Street has aggressive plans for the company, when considering its peers,” Moore added.
