But today, I choose thankfulness.

For those of you who didn’t know, I used to be homeless.
I was pregnant with my first child, my AJ. ❤️🩹
I was unable to work because of my high risk pregnancy.
My ex-husband didn’t have half the work ethic I have.
My car was repossessed.
I was couch surfing courtesy of people I went to church with.
(I have to tell you that nothing will humble you more than having to live from others’ grace.)
I didn’t cry today. It is hard to believe that suicide changed my life 12 years ago.
But today, I choose thankfulness.
I am thankful for having a roof over my head.
I am grateful for my reliable transportation.
I am thankful for each of YOU!
I am grateful for my living family.
I am beyond grateful for my company, Wink, Inc.
And I am grateful for my work family.
Lastly, I am thankful for the boy who passed, but inspired and motivated me.
