Gen Z Workers Piling into In-Plan Annuities

Sheryl Moore, chief executive officer of Moore Marketing Intelligence in Des Moines, Iowa, the publisher of Wink‘s Sales & Market Report, said Americans fear the prospect of outliving their money in retirement even more than death itself, as born out by a Corebridge survey in 2024.
“Millennials, in particular, have anxiety about retirement security due to a broad belief that Social Security may not be available once Gen Z is ready to retire,” said Moore. “Couple this with the feeling that they are not saving enough, and it makes a strong case for in-plan annuities for this demographic.”
