With the stock markets doing so well, many Americans feel that their portfolios are ample enough that they can start thinking about a comfortable life in retirement sooner rather than later. Some recent surveys report that many are itching to ditch the 9-to-5 world before age 60.
But there’s one obstacle that might delay their dash to the golden years: family.
