Annuity Owner Offers NAIC a Revised Annuity Buyer’s Guide

Peter Gould — a retired annuity owner who has taken an interest in the National Association of Insurance Commissioners — wants to help rewrite the NAIC’s official Annuity Buyer’s Guide.
Gould wrote in a letter sent to the Annuity Buyer’s Guide Working Group that the current draft is like “a quick-start guide for a chainsaw that omits all safety and protective gear warnings.”
