Apollo CEO Calls for Tougher Annuity Issuer Capital Rule

Marc Rowan, the co-founder and CEO of Apollo Global Management, continued to campaign for state regulators to change how annuity issuers count capital.
Apollo is the parent of Athene, which ranked first in terms of U.S. individual annuity sales in the first quarter, according to LIMRA.
