Who wouldn’t want a cancellation option on their income annuity?
Looks like it is happening in the in-plan market.
This seems like it would overcome a number of objections from both clients and agents.

Ho-hum annuitization, a concept that has famously outlasted the Roman Empire, is the last frontier for innovation. Despite evidence that (nearly) everybody should want it, (almost) nobody seems to. Though there are arguably many reasons for this, there’s no doubt that a huge hurdle at the heart of the matter is the finality of a decision that converts a large pile of money into a thin stream.
