If you were planning to buy a car or even a TV, you’d likely spend hours researching your options and comparing prices to get the best deal. Would you devote much time, though, to buying life insurance? After all, it’s not nearly as exciting as getting the keys to a new car. But, arguably, buying life insurance is more important and shouldn’t be rushed.
“A life insurance policy is a vital part of your financial plan, and you will likely have it for decades,” says Erin Ardleigh, founder and president of Dynama Insurance. “Take the necessary time to research and understand your options.” Otherwise, rushing to get the process over with and mark it off your to-do could cost you in the long run.
