What Is An Immediate Annuity?
December 23, 2020 by David Rodeck, Benjamin Curry
An immediate annuity is an investment that turns your current retirement savings into future income payments. When you buy an immediate annuity, you receive guaranteed income payments for a set number of years—or possibly for the rest of your life. Annuities are not for everyone, though.
Wink’s Note: This information is not credible.
1. The inference that you can withdraw money from a fixed rate SPIA is not good;
2. There is no such thing as an “index immediate annuity” today. (Some may recall the 2007 Allianz Command Provider)
3. “Fixed indexed annuities” are NOT immediate annuities.
4. Their descriptions for the types of annuities are just messy.
