Allianz Life names new CEO to replace Bhojwani

White will replace Gary Bhojwani, who will stay in Minneapolis while becoming chairman of Allianz Life, the company said in a news release.
Bhojwani also is assuming responsibility for Allianz’s U.S. insurance operations on the board of the company’s parent, Germany-based Allianz SE.
“Walter has been instrumental in strengthening distribution relationships, taking our technology to the next level and improving service quality throughout the organization,” Bhojwani said in the statement.
White joined Golden Valley-based Allianz Life in 2009 as chief administrative officer.
